Why no mention of Harold Camping's prediction on Jesus Haven you ask?

Simple. This webmaster, a Christian for thirty-two years, didn't believe it was credible.

Why? I do believe that there will be an end time and that it is probably closer than many realize. The Bible is very clear about that. The Bible is also very clear that the Lord will come at his own time, when He is ready, not us. He will come as a "Thief in the Night".

There is no point in trying to figure out when. Only God knows, and we will know when the time is at hand. As Christians who have Jesus as our Savior, we need only to trust him. Love him and keep his commands. Pray and try to live as Jesus would want us to. Our God is loving, and merciful. We have no need for fear or anxiety at the coming of our Lord. Maybe it will be in our lifetime, then again, maybe not. When he wants us, he will call. That's it. plain and simple.

As far as Harold Camping...I don't know the man. I don't believe he's a bad man. I do know that he is not the prophet he claims to be, and the Bible also tells us that these people will be out there in the end time, and we should not be fooled by them. Pray for him and his followers.

What I did find very disturbing, was the level of mockery and scorn at the idea of a rapture. People truly despise the word of God. It's sad. Pray for them. My dear friends in the Lord, it is not we, who have faith in Christ that have need of anxiety, it is these people who mock our God. Pray that God heals them, speaks to their hearts, and has mercy on them.

Lord, forgive us our sins and have mercy on our souls, in Jesus name. Amen.
